Knights Star Selected to Play For Native Country!

Arno Kalmeijer will have the honor of playing for his home country at the end of March.Atlanta Knights Midget AA standout player Arno Kalmeijer was recently selected by the Royal Belgium Ice Hockey Federation to represent Belgium at the IIHF World Championships U18 Division II Tournament. The tournament will be held in Kiev, Ukraine between March 21-28, 2010. Arno and his Team Belgium teammates will compete against the national teams from Slovenia, Ukraine, Spain, Australia and the Netherlands.
This is a great opportunity for Arno to represent his home country where he started his hockey career at the age of five. The Atlanta Knights organization is extremely proud of Arno and his nomination. His hard work and dedication has allowed him to develop in to a player worthy of wearing his country's flag. He will be a great representaion of hockey players in the southern Unites States and more specifically the Atlanta Knights as he competes at this very elite national tournament.
